Material Specification
▪Create Material Specifications for series production
▪Define material tolerances in order to guarantee stable product quality
▪Define tests and limits for inspection of incoming materials
▪Define procedures for expired materials
Supplier Development
▪Collaborate with supplier (fabtric, cord, polymer, rubber chemicals, etc.) to support new product development, localization, quality, material property deviation and sampling processes
▪Check availability and capability of raw material sources
▪Develop new alternative material suppliers and suport supplier audits
Development
▪Collaborate in working groups and projects to cost optiize and develop belts according the customer needs
▪Develop new and innovative materials for next generation products
▪Develop new suppliers to support new materials
Benchmark
▪Observe competetor situation and analyze competitor belts
Return part analysis
▪Carry out return part analysis
▪Deterimine and document root cause of complaint and failure
Environment
▪Ensure environmentally friendly handling of materials, avoid the use and introduction of hazardous materials
▪Fulfill legal and customer requirements in collaboration with Corporate Health and Safety
Purchasing
▪Participate in the development of the supplier startegy
▪Perform analysis to support claims
